How do I enrol in the PPE program?

Is there an application fee to register for the PPE program?
Registration is free. There is a fee to enrol in each course.
What are the minimum requirements to join the PPE program?
The minimum requirement are:
- Fluent in English
- Completed high school
What does PPE stand for?
PPE stands for Politics, Philosophy, and Economics
Which courses are taught as part of this program?
There are various courses taught in this program. Courses related to political science, economics, history, and philosophy.

What are the minimum number of courses that are needed to graduate from this program?
60 credit hours are required for the Associates degree (2-year program)
120 credit hours are required for the Bachelor’s degree (2-year program)

Can I take courses from the PPE program and courses from the Bachelor of Islamic Studies Program at the same time?
Yes, you can take courses from both programs at the same time.
What is the minimum passing grade per course?
The minimum passing grade per course is 70%.
How long is each course?
Each course is 4 months long, with one live lesson per week.
A 1 credit course is 1 hour of live instruction per week. A 2 credit course in 2 hours of live instruction per week.
How long will it take to complete this program?
This will depend on your availability. Those with more availability can take more courses per semester, and those who have less availability will take fewer courses per semester.
With part-time commitment you may complete this program in 4-5 years.
What is the minimum passing grade to obtain the degree?
The passing grade to obtain the degree for the PPE program is 80%.

What are the semester dates for this program?
Here are the semester dates per year:
- Fall Semester: September – Dec.
- Winter Semester: January – April
- Summer Semester: May – July
How much does this program cost?
60 credit hours are required for the Associates degree (2-year program)

Each credit costs $89.99, and a 2 credit course costs $149.99.
Are classes taught in person or online?
Classes are primarily taught online. However those who live in the Greater Toronto Area will have the ability to attend some classes in person (these classes will be live streamed).
What are the technology requirements?
A computer with a microphone and a camera. Once you register for the program we will provide you with further details on required tools.
Will I get a degree upon completion?
Yes, you will receive a degree upon completion of the program.
